Dental Hygienist (New Grads Welcome)
A Beautiful, Boutique, Long-standing practice in Northern NH with an abundance of new patients each month. Our practice allows optimal patient care, a comprehensive approach to full-service dentistry along with a strong focus on prevention and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities
·Assess the dental condition and needs of patients and review patients’ medical history
·Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis
·Educate patients & parents in oral hygiene instruction & oral health.
·Deliver direct patient care to patients, including Perio Charting, scaling, debridement & prophylaxis, risk assessments, x-rays, intraoral pictures, application of sealants and fluoride, and related procedures, under the general supervision of a dentist
·Scheduling patient recalls/treatment
·Effective communication with patient/dentist regarding treatment recommendations
·Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible
·Provide excellent customer service by looking for opportunities to offer Same Day Care
·Provide memorable patient experiences by showing compassion for our patients and parents
·Responsible for adhering to all government regulations and company standards

Requirements
·RDH from accredited school
·NH license
·Local Anesthesia certification preferred but not required
·Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification.
Entry Level Dental Assistant
Patient Management
•Greet patients when they sign in and monitor arrival time
•Set up treatment rooms for procedures
•Escort patients to treatment room
•Seat patients in treatment rooms
•Show care and concern, and help patients feel comfortable
•Obtain and review health histories according to office protocol
•Ensure patients are always attended
•Anticipate and assist dentist’s needs
•Perform expanded functions ( like fabrication of temporary crowns) and other tasks as assigned by the dentist
•Mix dental materials
•Ensure patients’ questions are answered thoroughly before they leave
•Chart patients and record date, service rendered and any charges
•Escort patients from the treatment room to front office
•Ensure proper treatment notes are recorded in patient’s chart
•Perform clinical procedures as practice act allows and as directed by dentist
•Give patient instruction and demonstrate when necessary
•Monitor patient flow
•Notify Patient Service Coordinator/ office manager if a patient should be called in the evening after a difficult appointment
Treatment Room Management and Sterilization
•Keep dental units ready, stocked and clean
•Oversee cleanliness of the treatment room according to sterilization procedures
•Disinfect treatment rooms according to OSHA regulations
•Sterilize all instruments and handpieces according to OSHA regulations
•Keep trays, instruments and treatment room drawers organized
•Ensure that office sterilization procedures document is on display
•Promptly send out and monitor all dental laboratory cases
•Implement the preventative maintenance/cleaning schedule for dental equipment
•Maintain dental office emergency kits and nitrous and oxygen tanks
•Follow laboratory procedures according to office protocol
Records Management
•Securely store and handle patient records in compliance with state and federal requirements, including the HIPAA privacy and security regulations
•Accurately file patient information
•Arrange patient charts and radiographs for next day’s appointments
•Track cases and referrals to and from other doctors
•Assist in the administration of the recall system
Inventory Management
•Ensure that treatment rooms are stocked at all times
Office Participation
•Help in other areas of the office when necessary (i.e., answering phones, unpacking supplies, completing insurance forms, moving former patient records, etc.)
•Be an active participant in team meetings, huddles and office events
•Promote team concept by interacting with others in the office
Requirements
Education/Experience
•High school diploma or equivalent
•Graduate of accredited dental assisting program or dental assisting experience preferred, but not required.
•Coursework in dental instruments and procedures preferred, but not required.
•Compliance with state dental practice requirements (e.g., x-ray requirements, OSHA training)
•Computer skills (MS word, Excel and photo shop)
•Commitment to CE for career development
Interpersonal
•Good interpersonal skills to maintain effective rapport with patients, dentists, other staff members and community
•Effective verbal skills to communicate with patients and staff
Scheduling Coordinator
The role of the Scheduling Coordinator, is critical in providing exceptional patient care, resulting in the best clinical outcomes & meeting the needs of our patients. As the face of our office, our front desk staff creates the initial foundation for the trusting relationships upon which our practice is built. If you are a positive, fun, compassionate, outgoing person & team player, who values providing the highest level of service, while also getting to know patient’s & families, then come join our team! Warmth & superior communication skills are prerequisites. Experience in dental or medical offices is preferred.
Role and Responsibilities
The Scheduling Coordinator will greet patients, answer phones, schedule appointments & collect patient financial responsibility.
• Provides concierge level customer service while interacting with patients, referring offices, and team members over the phone, in person, or via electronic communication.
• Greets patients and visitors immediately upon arrival with a friendly demeanor.
• Answers the phone promptly with a smile.
• Schedules appointments to optimize patient satisfaction, provider time and most effective use of exam and treatment rooms.
• Prepares a daily schedule for each provider.
• Manages patient flow to reduce patient wait time.
• Assists patients as necessary.
• Maintains reception area in a neat and orderly condition.
• Maintains professional relationship with referring offices.
• Maintains confidentiality of all information in accordance with HIPAA.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
Sterilization Technician
We are looking for a hard working individual who can multi-task, treat patients with care & be self motivated. You must be willing to learn, get along well with other hard working team members & make patients feel welcomed.
No experience required. Training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
•Maintain sterilization procedures for all dental instruments and equipment
•Sterilize all dental equipment and instruments in a timely fashion
•Maintain sterilization log books
•Prepare dental trays
•Help set up & break down treatment rooms
•Comply with and share in the implementation of all safety, sterilization and infection control requirements, including OSHA.
•Help maintain dental equipment per manufacturers’ recommendations.
•Assist other clinic staff and demonstrate a team approach to patient care
•Perform other related activities, as required, to assure program/department success
•Properly dispose of all biohazardous material
•Interact harmoniously and effectively with others, focusing upon the attainment of organizational goals and objectives through a commitment to teamwork
•Comply with all safety rules and protocols
•Abide by the organizations compliance program and requirements.
•Perform all other duties, as assigned by supervisor.
